IM : What was the bodybuilding when you started?
BS : It was kind of a cult thing, almost underground. No one thought he was a really sports! Unlike today, just enormous. In those days, many bodybuilding was associated with a kind of narcissism and homosexuality. Names Grimek, Reeves Park, or were known only to a narrow circle of people - just as they are involved in bodybuilding. Now the names of Ray Schwarzenegger or know of any boy!
If you remember, in the competitive bodybuilding in 1950 was only 10 years old. The competitions were "immature." They were held in the competitions in weightlifting and started after midnight. Somebody sent some light on a basketball court, and we pose it without musical accompaniment. I'll take it upon myself to say that I first came up with the music performances. It was the mid 50s.
IM : You have decided to participate in competitions or someone pushed you to that decision?
BS : My mentor was Leo Stern (Leo Stern). He had a keen eye for balance and symmetry. He once said: "Bill, pull baker to spawn, and just hold your delta." He was a good advice! Constitution should be aesthetic. I have nothing against muscle mass, but some athletes are too passionate about it. Weight should not be suppressed. In my opinion, the most perfectly developed physique had Frank Zane (Frank Zane) and Chris Dickerson (Chris Dickerson). They were his best physique stylish and graceful. At one of these shows were only Arnold and Sergio, but when a guy from the audience came on stage and began to pose, he was given third place. I have nothing against the IFBB, but sometimes I think that Olympia was created to promote Vader and his organization.
IM : Many people were shocked when you took part in the "Mr. Universe" in 1971 at the age of 41 years. What made you come back after a four-year hiatus?
BS : Arnold and Weider constantly challenged me, and I decided to take it. I wanted to prove that winning is possible without doping. But at the last minute, Arnold refused - I think it would be funny if it were my friend Joe lost, especially after such a fuss! For me, these events were great. I remember when they announced my name, a little old man shouted: "Bill Pearl - the king!"
IM : Then you're gone?

BS : From competitive bodybuilding - yes. I "switched speed" and started to train just for yourself. You can not always win. In addition, I have felt uncomfortable on stage next to the children of 21-22 years. I was already 41 years old, and age differences started to bother me. But I did not give up sports activities, while continuing to participate in demonstrations and seminars. In addition, I wrote a lot.

A Basic Guide to HGH

The intention of this guide is to give you a good basic working knowledge of HGH and how to intelligently use it. While this is not intended to cover every conceivable nuance of HGH use, it should provide you with a solid enough background to create your cycle around. I am not writing this as a scientific exposition or as an overly technical overview. I am writing this from the standpoint of a seven-year veteran of HGH use, and an athlete (yes even paid at times) that has used this as one of the tools in my arsenal. I have injected tens of thousands of IU’s of HGH into myself, and carefully monitored, tested, and experimented on myself. So with that disclaimer being made up front, lets take a look at this hormone called HGH.Few other hormones have generated more excitement and hype in recent years than HGH. From reports of incredible fat loss to tales of increases in lean muscle to levels that defy genetics, HGH has been touted as one of the panaceas to all bodybuilding woes. Depending on which statistics you trust, reports of as many as 80% of professional athletes have experimented with, have used, or are actively using HGH as a supplement to their training program.

WHAT EXACTLY IS HGH?

Human Growth Hormone (somatotropin - also referred to as rHGH, HGH, or GH) is created by the pituitary gland, the primary form consisting of a 191 amino acid chain. When we are young, HGH is in big part responsible for the proper growth of bones, muscle, and other tissues. Too little of this hormone and we remain dwarfs … too much and we become giants and/or suffer from abnormal growth deformities. As we become adults, HGH is responsible for keeping muscles from wasting away, supports healthy immune system response, regulates aspects of our metabolic function dealing with increased fat metabolism and healthy body composition in later life, and maintains and repairs our skin and other tissues.
Our levels of HGH peak while we are adolescents and then begin to drop off sharply beginning in our 30’s. By our 60’s, our daily HGH secretion can be as little as 10% of what it was during our youth. Many of the markers of aging are affected by this decrease in HGH. Some of the results of this are:

· Increase in fat.
· Decrease in muscle and lean body structures.
· Decreased skin texture resulting in a less youthful appearance.
· Decreased bone density, onset of osteoporosis.
· Decreased brain function, loss of intellect with aging.
· Decreased sex drive.
· Decrease in overall physical and mental well being.
· Increase in sleep disorders, lower quality of sleep.
· Depression and fatigue.The addition of supplemental HGH beginning in the latter 30’s can reverse or improve these symptoms in the majority of people attempting therapy. This is why you will often hear references with respect to HGH as “the fountain of youth” and other similar terms. It can present a better quality of life for those aging.HOW IS HGH RELEASED IN YOUR BODY?

HGH is secreted from the pituitary in a pulsatile fashion, generally following a circadian rhythm. A number of stimuli can initiate an HGH secretion, the most powerful being short duration, high intensity exercise and sleep. During the first few hours of sleep (deep sleep stages – about 2 hours after you fall asleep), Somatostatin is turned off and GHRH is turned on, resulting in HGH pulses.
Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) produced by the hypothalamus stimulates HGH secretion. HGH, and IGF-1 create a negative feedback loop, meaning when their levels are high; it blunts release of GHRH, which in turn blunts the release of more HGH.

Somatostatin (SS), secreted by the hypothalamus as well as other tissues inhibits the secretion of HGH Somatostatin in response to GHRH and to other stimulatory factors such as low blood glucose concentration. High levels of IGF-1 also stimulate Somatostatin secretion.Ghrelin is a peptide hormone secreted from the stomach. Ghrelin binds to receptors on somatotrophs and potently stimulates secretion of growth hormone. Ghrelin, as the stimulator for the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, potently stimulates secretion of growth hormone. The ghrelin signal is integrated with that of growth hormone releasing hormone and somatostatin to control the timing and magnitude of growth hormone secretion.Once HGH is released, it is very short lived. It is generally metabolized and gone within a half-hour. During this half-hour, it travels to the liver and other tissues and induces them to secrete a polypeptide hormone called Insulin-like Growth Factor One (IGF-1).

HOW DOES HGH DO ITS WORK?

You would normally opt to use HCG after you've done a long cycle, usually 8 weeks or more. Note that almost all proper cycles are 8 weeks or more in length, its just that some beginners have a phobia of needles and opt to waste their time with an all oral stack first, in which case the cycle wouldn't be longer than 6-7 weeks. In these cases too HCG can have a use, but most of the time testicular atrophy will not have progressed to such a stage that it is an absolute necessity. In any case, you should run it about 3 weeks, totaling about 4 shots. One every 5-6 days. Start off with one shot of 3000 IU somewhere in the last week of your stack, then another 3000 5 days later, then drop to 1500 5 days later and a last shot of 1500 6 days after that. Sometime after the second or third shot, therapy with Nolvadex or clomid should be commenced and continued for 4-5 weeks. How to do this, I refer you to the Nolva/clomid profile.

In any case, I'll repeat it again, since it is important. HCG IS and always will be an important part of post-cycle recovery, but it should never be run too long or at too high a dose and should always be accompanied by the use of either Clomid or Nolvadex. The use of Clomid or Nolvadex should also be continued at least 2 weeks after HCG is discontinued to avoid the HCG causing problems.

As mentioned above, HGH is short lived, but during its short half-hour or so activity per burst from the pituitary, it exerts itself through direct and indirect effects.
Its direct effects are the result of the HGH binding its receptor on target cells. Fat cells (adipocytes) as well as myocytes (muscle cells) have HGH receptors. On fat cells, HGH stimulates them to break down triglyceride and suppresses the fat cells ability to uptake circulating lipids.Its indirect effects are in the process we described in the section above. When HGH travels to the liver, one of the results of its pass through the liver is the livers secretion of IGF-1. When this IGF-1 is secreted, it stimulates proliferation of chondrocytes (cartilage cells), which result in bone growth. It also plays a part in stimulating both the proliferation and differentiation of myoblasts (the precursor to skeletal muscle fibers). IGF-1 also stimulates amino acid uptake and protein synthesis in muscle and other tissues. Other tissues (muscle, etc.) are acted on by the presence of HGH, also inducing their release of IGF-1.
HGH stimulates protein anabolism in many tissues. This reflects increased protein synthesis, decreased oxidation of proteins, and increased amino acid uptake. As mentioned above, HGH enhances fat utilization by stimulating triglyceride breakdown and oxidation in fat cells (adipocytes).

HGH can affect the function of other hormones. HGH can suppress the abilities of insulin to stimulate the uptake of glucose in tissues and enhance glucose synthesis in the liver, though administering HGH actually stimulates insulin secretion and can create a state of hyperinsulinemia. This combination can lead to decreased insulin sensitivity, which in turn can lead to hyperglycemia. HGH can in the right circumstances also have a slight inhibitory effect on the function of our thyroid hormones (and actually vice versa as well), though this varies greatly from individual to individual. The vast majority of users have no need to worry about this at all. Others wishing to increase their metabolism or enhance certain of HGH’s functions may wish to consider low dose thyroid to their HGH cycle. We’ll offer some strategies later in this guide.

So, we are looking at a hormone that can assist with maintenance and healing of most of the body’s systems, can create new cartilage, bone, and muscle cells, can assist with protein uptake, decrease the oxidation of proteins, and can accelerate the rate at which fat is utilized. This paints the picture of the excitement that follows HGH. How then do we utilize this to our advantage? Let’s take a look at some strategies.HOW DO I INCREASE MY LEVELS OF HGH?

There are a few strategies for increasing your own endogenous production of HGH. For the most part these aren’t going to give us a significant enough increase that would be necessary to promote all of the benefits mentioned above in their full measure, but for some (those still young) they will prove to be sufficient.

By adding several grams of Arginine and Glutamine to our daily supplement program, we can increase our levels of HGH. If we are very young or we are only in need of a modest jump in production, this may well do the trick. Short duration, high-intensity exercise (think heavy leg day – puking and all), will trigger our bodies to secrete a significant amount of HGHAnother possibility is to inject various related hormones or peptides. There are many available, such as GHRH, GHRP (and all of its analogs), and the like. These peptides are available from research companies and when injected at doses of 100mcgs per day, sub-q it does seem to show promise in increasing levels of HGH. At this stage the game, there isn’t a significant cost advantage to this over rHGH, but if we are trying to promote some of the other forms of HGH in addition to the primary form, or have no hope of securing a prescription for HGH (or other means of access) there may be an advantage to this course of action. Aside from these strategies, what are we left with? To state it simply, we need to inject exogenous rHGH.

INJECTIBLE HGH AND ITS USE

True HGH only comes in the form of a lyophilized powder. Any other form that you see advertised or run across is NOT the real deal. The only way to administer true HGH is by sub-q or intramuscular injection. You will see studies that use IV as their method of administration, but that is certainly NOT recommended (in fact it is just outright crazy), nor necessary in any way for getting all of the benefits HGH has to offer.
HGH is somewhat fragile by nature, and it needs to be protected from light and heat. HGH should be stored between 36 and 46 degrees Fahrenheit at all times both before and after its reconstitution.

There are a couple of brands of HGH that can survive in normal room temperature for a reasonable amount of time BEFORE reconstitution (Genotropin – 3 months, Saizen – until expiration), but for the most part it is better to err on the side of safe rather than sorry. All brands of HGH should be refrigerated after being reconstituted, and all brands should be protected from light at all times.

As with no other doping drug, growth hormones are still surrounded by an aura of mystery. Some call it a wonder drug which causes gigantic strength and muscle gains in the shortest time. Others consider it completely useless in improving sports performance and argue that it only promotes the growth process in children with an early stunting of growth. Some are of the opinion that growth hormones in adults cause severe bone deformities in the form of overgrowth of the lowerjaw and extremities. And, generally speaking, which growth hormones should one take the human form, the synthetically manufactured version, recombined or genetically produced form and in which dosage? All this controversy about growth hormones is so complex that the reader must have some basic information in order to understand them.

An athlete weighting 200 pounds, therefore, would have to inject 60 I.U. weekly. The dosage would be divided into three intramuscular injections of 20 I.U. each. Subcutaneous injections (under the skin) are another form of intake which, however would have to be injected daily, usually 8 I.U. per day. Top athletes usually inject 4-16 I.U./day. Ordinarily, daily subcutaneous injections are preferred. Since STH has a half life time of less than one hour, it is not surprising that some athletes divide their dail dose into three or four subcutaneous injections of 2-4 I.U. each. Application of regular small dosages seems to bring the most effective results. This also has its reasons: When STH is injected, serum concentration in the blood rises quickly, meaning that the effect is almost immediate. As we know, STH stimulates the liver to produce and release somatomedins and insulin like growth factors which in turn effect the desired results in the body. Since the liver can only produce a limited amount of these substances, we doubt that larger STH injections will induce the liver to produce instantaneously a larger quantity of somatomedins and insulin-like growth factors. It seems more likely that the liver will react more favorably to smaller dosages. If the STH solution is injected subcutaneously several consecutive times at the same point of injection, a loss of fat tissue is possible. Therefore, the point of injection, or even better, the entire sisde of the body should be continuously, changed in order to avoid a loss of local fat tissue (lipoathrophy) in the injection cell. One thing has manifested itself over the years: The effect of STH is dosage-dependent. This means either invest a lot of money and do it right or do not even begin. Half-hearted attempts are condemned to failure Minimum effective dosages seem to start at 4 I.U. per day. For comparison: the hypophysis of a healthy; adult, releases 0.5-1.5 I.U. growth hormones daily.

RECONSTITUTING AND MEASURING YOUR HGH

So you now have a vial HGH in the form of lyophilized powder. The amount of this powder should be indicated on the vial somewhere. It will either be stated in Units (IU's) or in Milligrams (mg). If it is stated in milligrams, the conversion is most commonly stated as 1mg = ~3IU's (its really more precisely 1mg=2.7IU). We will use this 1mg = 3IU's for our guide since this is the standard most commonly referenced by manufacturers.

What we need to do with this lyophilized powder is add some Bacteriostatic water (BW), Sterile Water, or even liquid vitamin B12 to reconstitute it and make it ready to inject. RECONSTITUTING

1.) Take an alcohol swab and swab the stopper of both your HGH vial and the vial of the dilutent (BW, sterile water, B12). 2.) Take a 3cc syringe with a 23 or 25 gauge needle (1" or 1.5") and draw up and amount of your preferred dilutent. The amount isn't critical, other than making sure you know exactly how much you have used. 3.) Take this syringe with the dilutent and push it into the vial of lyophilized powder, angling so that the needle touches the side of the vial, and avoiding shooting the dilutent directly on the lyophilized powder. Make it run slowly down the side of the vial (don't let it forcefully rush in).

4.) Now, the injectable steroids are meant to be delivered intramuscularly, meaning, that you're going to have to inject relatively deep into the muscle. The "standard" needle is 22 gauge, 1.5 inch. This is used for injection into the buttocks. You can also use a smaller needle, like a 25 gauge, one inch, but it will take longer to inject and there's a chance you may not inject into the muscle fibers, depending on how much fat is on your ass. Generally though, most guys can get away with using a one inch needle. Also, you should take into account that although it will inject a lot faster, a larger gauge like 20 or below, will cause more pain and will damage more tissue.

The second most common injection site is the thigh. With this, you should only need a one inch needle. You can also inject into the shoulder as well as other places, but I'd prefer if you stuck with these two for now.

Okay, so now the question is, "Where exactly should you inject?" Well, if you're going to inject into the buttocks, you'll need to pick a cheek and then imagine a horizontal line beginning at the crack of your butt and extending outwards. Next, imagine a vertical line right down the middle of the first line. So now your butt cheek should be divided into four squares. The place to inject is in the upper most corner on the outermost section, i.e. the top right square.

For the thigh, a quick way to do it is to look at your hip and knee, and then imagine a line in between the two. This and a little bit lower are the areas you can inject. Make sure this is on the outside of your thigh!

Okay, so now you're ready. First thing? Wash your hands. Now find the spot, take a cotton swab and put some rubbing alcohol on it. Swab the area that you'll inject. Grab the syringe and push it in at a 90° angle. (Some say to hold the needle like you're about the throw a dart.) Once the needle is fully submerged, pull back on the plunger just slightly and look to see if any blood enters. If it does, pull out and find a new place, as you've entered a vein and you don't want to inject into a vein.

If no blood appears, begin to push the plunger. Remember, the slower you push, the less pain you'll feel. Once the liquid is gone, pull the syringe directly out and apply a cotton swab to the site. Hold tightly for about 30 seconds and then either tape it on or put a bandage on it. Pull your pants back up; you're done!

There's also an old trick that involves pulling the skin slightly over to one side before you stick in the needle. After you inject, let the skin go back to it's normal place. This is said to close the little path made by the needle to keep all your gear in your ass where it's supposed to be. This isn't that much of a worry in all honesty, but it's an option.

Discard the syringe in a safe place and use a new one for the next injection. Never use the same needle twice (it'll be dull, plus you'll risk infection by reusing it) and, of course, never share a needle with anyone, especially if your training partner just happens to be a Haitian hemophiliac homosexual intravenous drug user.

When people are considering doing their first cycle, proper injection technique is usually the last thing they consider. Usually, people have a goal, and then research various drugs and cycles which they think will help them achieve that goal. Usually it´s not until someone has a bunch of vials sitting in front of them, and a bag of needles and syringes, that they start thinking about how they´re actually going to get the oil out of the bottle and into their body!
Hopefully this article will make that first injection- and all of your subsequent ones- a bit less confusing and a lot less painful.
First, you´ll need to draw the steroid out of the vial, with a syringe. The most common size for injecting anabolic steroids is a 22-23ga. X 1-1.5" needle. This size will work for all water based and oil based injectable steroids. The first thing you need to do is make sure you are using a clean, unused needle. Next, make sure the top of the vial is clean, and swab it with an alcohol pad.
To draw the liquid out of the vial, you´ll first want to pull some air into the syringe, usually as much as it will hold. Next, you want to hold the vial upside down and inject the air into the vial. This will increase pressure inside the vial and allow the liquid to be drawn into the syringe more easily. Once you´ve one this, and while you´re still holding the vial upside down (you need to make sure the tip of the needle is below the level of the liquid), begin to slowly pull back on the plunger and draw the desired amount of liquid into the syringe.
Next you have the option of replacing the needle that breached the rubber stopper of the vial with a fresh needle. This is because even one pass through the rubber of a vial will blunt the tip of a needle- even if this is not visible to the naked eye, it´s still got the potential to cause additional discomfort when you inject.
After you have replaced the needle, if you´ve chosen to do so, you´ll need to swab the area you are about to inject with a new, clean, alcohol pad. The most common injection site is
The Dorsogluteal site (ass):
Another common site for injection is the Ventrogluteal part of the Gluteus (slightly higher and to the outside of the Dorsogluteal site).
Of course, other sites such as the deltoid (shoulder), Triceps and Biceps (arms), as well as even Pectorals (chest- a bit too "Pulp Fiction" for me, personally) and Calves are used as injection sites. But regardless of the site, the same procedure and sanitary protocol must be followed.
Anyway, after the site has been wiped with an alcohol pad, you´ll want to relax the area, and if possible, stretch the skin taught with your thumb and forefinger. This will make , the skin tight and provide an easier injection. Once you have the skin stretched, while holding the needle like a dart, insert it with one swift motion, all the way to the end of the needle. Do this at a 90 degree angle relative to the muscle you are injecting.
Next, pull back on the plunger, and check that no blood enters the syringe. As long as no blood has entered (signifying that you´ve his a blood vessel, and that this is not a good injection to continue), push down on the plunger slowly with a slow, steady pressure. Once the syringe is empty, pull out the needle with one swift motion, and put pressure on the area with a sterile alcohol pad. Next, simply apply a bandage, recap the needle, and dispose of everything in a safe manner.
For doing a subcutaneous shot, with an insulin needle (this is typically how Growth Hormone is administered), you´ll follow all of those steps, but instead of stretching your skin taught, you´ll be pulling the skin away from your body and inserting the needle at a 45 degree angle into the "pocket" of space between your skin and muscle.
Again, dispose of your needles safely, and remember to follow this same procedure for every injection, to avoid the possibility of infections and abscesses.

If you´re anything like me, you took a look at the title of this article and wondered what an intermediate is. It´s relatively easy to figure out what a beginner is, because chances are if you haven´t done steroids, you already know that you´re a beginner. And if you´ve been using steroids for nearly a decade (as I have), you would probably have assumed you would need an advanced cycle. But if you fall in this grey area in the middle, then you´re probably wondering what kind of cycles you need.

Well, I´m going to set up some guidelines to figure out whether you´re an intermediate, ok? You´re an intermediate if you´ve been lifting for at least 3 years and have done at least 3 cycles. And I think, to make my definition of intermediate a little easier to understand, I´ll also suggest that you need to have done at least 3 different anabolic steroids, and stacked them in at least one of your cycles. You with me, so far? What I´m saying is that in order to be an intermediate, you have:

Done 3 cycles or more

Used three different Anabolic steroids

Stacked 2 steroids in at least one cycle

If you´ve done all of the above then you are (at least) an intermediate steroid user, and the cycle I´m going to outline here is for you. SO let´s take a look at a sample intermediate lean bulking cycle, and then I´ll give you the reasoning behind it.

Ok, so what we have here is a cycle that uses moderate amounts of anabolics. A cycle like this, which makes use of Testosterone as well as Equipoise will produce noticeable results in both strength as well as size, and will produce a nice, hard look to the physique. Since this is a lean bulking cycle, I´ll assume that the user will be following a diet which is high in quality calories. Protein intake will need to be high to take full advantage of the steroids being used. Conversion to estrogen is not much of a problem with Equipoise, although it´s going to happen with the Testosterone. Keep some Arimidex on hand, and if your nipples get sensitive or you are retaining too much water, use it at .5mgs/day.

The suggested testosterone in this cycle has a long ester, meaning it is released into the body very slowly after it is injected - and is therefore usually injected once or twice a week. Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone, and stacks well with anything because it produces both a nice anabolic (muscle building) effect, as well as an androgenic effect. Both of these effects will be helpful on a cycle where maximum lean mass is the goal.

Since you´re going to have to inject the testosterone once a week, you may as well include another product that has a similar ester length. For this cycle, that would probably mean using Equipoise. Equipoise is a relatively cheap injectable steroid, and will increase your appetite substantially, allowing you to easily consume enough calories to make your cycle worthwhile. It will also provide an additional anabolic effect with very little conversion to estrogen, which will help to keep water retention to a minimum.

I´ve decided to include orals for four weeks in this cycle, separated by four weeks in between. A modest dose of Dianabol is suggested at the outset of the cycle so you can begin seeing results immediately. The longer esters in the injectable products typically mean that noticeable results won´t occur until a couple of weeks into the cycle or more. This can be offset with the use of an oral compound in the beginning which will produce rapid increases in strength and weight gain. Dianabol is a nice choice for this. While the Dianabol is giving you rapid results, your blood plasma levels of the injectable steroids will be building up. When you discontinue the use of Dianabol at week four, you shouldn´t experience any drop in strength or lean mass, since the injectables have had more than enough time to begin exerting their peak anabolic effects. The four week break from orals in the middle of the cycle is included because it gives your body (your liver) a break from metabolizing the oral steroids. Then, Anavar is included after your body has had a little break and does not convert to estrogen at all, so water retention is quite low with this steroid (if there´s any) and gynocomastia is never reported. It is very popular for addition into a many cycles and provides a nice ending for this cycle, over the last four weeks, where the user may have reached a plateau in body fat loss. In this particular case, it will help solidify gains at the end of the cycle.. Its principal drawback is its price, which is why many users may opt to include Winstrol in a cycle in its place. Intermediate Cycle #2-1

If you´re anything like me, you took a look at the title of this article and wondered what an intermediate is. It´s relatively easy to figure out what a beginner is, because chances are if you haven´t done steroids, you already know that you´re a beginner. And if you´ve been using steroids for nearly a decade (as I have), you would probably have assumed you would need an advanced cycle. But if you fall in this grey area in the middle, then you´re probably wondering what kind of cycles you need.

Well, I´m going to set up some guidelines to figure out whether you´re an intermediate, ok? You´re an intermediate if you´ve been lifting for at least 3 years and have done at least 3 cycles. And I think, to make my definition of intermediate a little easier to understand, I´ll also suggest that you need to have done at least 3 different anabolic steroids, and stacked them in at least one of your cycles. You with me, so far? What I´m saying is that in order to be an intermediate, you have:
Done 3 cycles or more
Used three different Anabolic steroids
Stacked 2 steroids in at least one cycle

If you´ve done all of the above then you are (at least) an intermediate steroid user, and the cycle I´m going to outline here is for you. SO let´s take a look at a sample intermediate cutting cycle, and then I´ll give you the reasoning behind it.

Ok, so what we have here is a cutting cycle that uses low(ish) amounts of anabolics. A cycle like this, which makes use of short estered products like Testosterone Propionate and Trenbolone Acetate will produce noticeable results almost immediately. Since this is a cutting cycle, I´ll assume some kind of calorie deficit. This is important because the body is a lot more sensitive to androgens when there´s a hypocaloric state & this is why bodybuilders who are dieting for contests seem to be able to do astonishing things with their bodies on relatively small amounts of anabolic steroids.

The testosterone in this cycle has a very short ester, meaning it is released into the body very rapidly after it is injected - and is therefore usually injected every day or every other day. Testosterone stacks well with anything, and produces a nice anabolic (muscle building) effect, in addition to a distinct androgenic effect. Naturally, both of these effects will work together to help you achieve a significant increase in weight-load capacity, and a gain in Body weight.

Since you´re going to have to inject the testosterone propionate every other day anyway, you may as well include another product that has a similar ester length. For a cutting cycle, that would probably mean using Trenbolone Acetate. It´s often used by bodybuilders before contests for its hardening abilities and fat metabolizing qualities. It is highly androgenic and does not aromatize, it makes a great cutting drug. It stacks well with anything, including Anavar, which is our final compound in this cycle.

Anavar is Oxandrolone does not convert to estrogen at all, so water retention is quite low with this steroid (if there´s any) and gynocomastia is never reported. It is very popular for addition into a cutting cycle and provides a nice ending for this cycle, over the last four weeks, where the user may have reached a plateau in body fat loss. It´s also very good at helping users retain or even gain strength when calories are low or at just maintenance level. Its principal drawback is its price, which is why many users may opt to include Winstrol in a cycle in its place. Although Winstrol shares many of the properties that Anavar boasts, it just (anecdotally) doesn´t seem to provide as much muscle gain or strength increases. If your nipples get tender (a beginning sign of Gynocomastia), add in some Arimidex (Anastrozole) at half a milligram every day. Clenbuterol or Ephedrine can be added into a cycle like this also, if more fat loss is needed. Clenbuterol is typically used at a dose of 20-120mcgs/day in divided doses, and Ephedrine is typically used at a dose of 20mgs 3x a day.

Ok, so what we have here is a nice bulking cycle that uses about a gram per week of anabolics, on average, and makes use of orals in the beginning to help you see results more quickly. In the beginning, you´re going to be running between 25 and 50mgs per day of Dianabol, which will allow you to see results very quickly while blood plasma levels of the long estered Testosterone and Nandrolone products to build up to their peak levels. I´m a firm believer that when you run a bulking cycle, you want to maximize the amount of weight you gain for the time that you´re on steroids. Typically, people don´t "feel" the long estered products effects until a quite a few weeks into the cycle. That´s why I like to kickstart a bulking cycle with an oral like Dianabol. I look at it as a numbers game& if you can manage to keep 50% of the weight you gain on a bulking cycle, and you gain 25lbs, you´ll end up with more muscle in the end then if you gain 20lbs, even if you lose half. On a bulking cycle, you need to bulk. This is a bit "old school" of me, but to be totally honest, I could never hold 200 very lean pounds until I went to 225 and cut back down (I´m 5´7").

I think Dianabol is a nice bulking drug, and with the recent emergence of so many quality UG Labs, it´s relatively cheap. It gives the user an increase in strength and size almost immediately, and usually a heightened sense of well being. Of course, some users prefer Anadrol, because it can be a bit cheaper on a mg for mg basis, but really this isn´t enough of a difference to matter, in my opinion. I get headaches on Anadrol, but if you like it, then by all means, substitute it for the Dianabol.

The suggested testosterones in this cycle are long estered testosterone products, and are usually injected every 3.5-7th day. Testosterone stacks well with anything, and produces a nice anabolic (muscle building) effect, in addition to a distinct androgenic effect. Naturally, both of these effects will work together to help you achieve a significant increase in weight-load capacity, and a gain in Body weight.

Nandrolone Decanoate is a good choice for inclusion into a bulking cycle because it is very anabolic and slightly androgenic. It has two primary benefits on a bulking cycle, and the first is of course its ability to help you retain nitrogen, and thus build more muscle. The other very beneficial effect you will experience with the use of Nandrolone is a joint soothing/healing effect. Conversion to estrogen with this product is low, and combined with its other effects, it´s a natural choice for adding into a bulking cycle.

A cycle like this will give the user a good twenty plus pounds of new body weight, as well as the strength that accompanies it. If water retention becomes a problem, or your nipples get tender (a beginning sign of Gynocomastia), add in some Arimidex (Anastrozole) at half a milligram every day.

Novice Steroid Cycles #3

Steroid Cycles for Beginners

The second, and optional, compound in this cycle is called Deca-Durabolin, or "Deca" for short (Nandrolone Decanoate). This is an injectable steroid made by altering the testosterone molecule (removing a specific carbon atom) in such a way that it now converts to estrogen at a much lower rate then testosterone, and actually has a higher anabolic rating as well. This should be taken with a grain of salt, however, because although Deca is a great steroid, very few people would argue that it´s better than testosterone for gains. Gains tend to be very high quality with Deca, and produce a much harder look to the physique, in general. Sore joints as well as aches and pains also seem to disappear for most athletes when they include Deca in their cycles. Adding it into this beginner´s cycle is perfect for older trainees or those with injuries. IT can, however, cause sexual dysfunction if used without testosterone. That is why it´s an addition to this cycle, and not the base of it.

A cycle like this should provide a beginning steroid user with over twenty pounds of new body weight if a proper diet and training regimen is followed. As a really nice side benefit, the Deca-Durabolin is going to provide the seasoned lifter with a very soothing effect on their joints, and therefore the ability to use heavier weights. A bit of this weight is going to be water retention, but since only the testosterone is really a concern there, it shouldn´t be much of a problem. In fact, Deca only has about a fifth the ability to convert to estrogen as testosterone does. In my experience, the weight gained on a cycle like this is much more "nice looking" than on a straight testosterone cycle. In other words, even though the two steroids being used can both convert to estrogen, only the testosterone does so at any appreciable rate. If a clean, high calorie diet is followed, most, if not all, of the "watery" look that´s common with first time steroid users can be avoided. Of course if you eat everything in sight, you´ll gain more weight and strength, but it´s not going to be pretty... Also, it´s important to note that it´s a very good idea to do at least 20 minutes of cardio work three or four times a week while on a cycle, to keep your cardiovascular system running optimally, and able to support all of the new weight (and stress) you are placing on it.
